I'm the CEO of a little rocket-powered airplane design company. I used to be in the Air Force for about 12 years, and currently live about half an hour away from Santa Barbara, which bears a striking resemblance to Sunnydale, for what it's worth.

Mailman in Columbus, Ohio. Walking route. Don't have near enough seniority for one of those routes where you don't have to get out of the truck. Really sucks on rainy days.
Saw a bumper sticker the other day that really cracked me up: "If walking is so good for you, how come my mailman looks like Jabba the Hut?"

I used to teach fencing, and ballroom dancing, and for a short while I answered phones. That was oh so exciting. Currently I am blissfully unemployed/ a college student. Fine art’s and biological anthropology major. Yeah, like that education is going to get me some high paying jobs. I plan on being a starving artist who holds high spirited debates over the concepts of evolution vs. creationism in my card board box under the free way. If anyone’s interested I’d call to invite you, but I doubt my box will have a phone jack, or that I will even be able to buy a phone. But I’ll still think of you all, and it’s the thought that counts right?
And for the rest of you artists out there,

I'm an Administrative Assistant and Acquistions Specialist at the Idaho State Law Library. Actually, I'm THE Administrative Assistant and Acquistions Specialist at the Idaho State Law Library. The wonderful thing about this is that I can afford a rather spacious apartment all by myself (no roommates), lots and lots of books, and I work only 19 hours / week, which leaves me plenty of time to indulge my writing habit. (And no, I'm not allowed to give out the name of the demon to whom I sold my soul, sorry.)
I consider writing my real career. Unfortunately, I haven't found many editors who agree with me. So far, my writing income averages out to about $3 a year. I'm sure I'll be famous by the time I'm dead though. I write horror and ... well, just kind of bizarre stuff. Actually sold two really crappy stories to the Roswell Literary Review (which went out of business shortly thereafter ... no correlation, I'm sure). Celebrated the sale by buying a pizza. Which pretty much used up the money they gave me.
I'd eat Joss Whedon's brain and heart if I thought it would give me one-tenth of his storytelling talent. Hm. Actually I think I'd eat his brain and heart just because I'm hungry.
Anyways.

I'm a Cadd Designer with a degree in Physical Anthropology/New World Archaeology. Spend my time designing bridges and roads. Education doesn't always take you where you want to go!

I, Unfortunately, work in a factory making fire-retardent/resistant products... And I will continue to until someone who needs a guy with a BSc in Electronics hires me at long last...

And then the spell was broken as Shannon Foraker looked up from her console from where she had just sent a seemingly innocent command to the main computers of State Security's finest Superdreadnoughts.
"Oops." She said.
