I don't know which hotel I'm going to stay at yet. But Best Western sounds good. And if we can get a group room block discount that would be great. If my friend ends up coming down from Chicago for it, that will be 2 rooms needed.

Mai-both Ath and I are planning to go. And we'll need hotel rooms. So, I propose: 1) we find out about group rates at Best Western (do you feel up to doing this? If not, I can) 2) We find out who's going to stay there and consider doubling up rooms (or even tripling if people don't mind crashing on the floor) to further save money (though I'm proposing that it stay non-co-ed for the sake of decency) and 3) we carpool to the theater and/or Renn Faire.
It's not like we're going to get much sleep anyway.

What do you think? What about the rest of you?

I'm trying to find out about group rates, but there not giving me much info to go without having an exact number which i obviously don't have yet, so I'm asking anyon and everyone here who thinks they might go to let me know so i can at least have a general idea. i think it's a great idea to shares rooms and save money, but of course and trying to get it planned out ahead of time, so there's that much less confusion.

Okay, as I told Mai, I'm just going to bite the bullet, say I'm coming, and figure out the funds later. I am totally willing to share a room. I only ask that we carpool or something when we go anywhere, because all the trees make me claustrophobic and I have no sense of direction when I can't see a minimum of 10 miles.

I got a van!! Sure, it's 11 years old and the radio doesn't work, but it'll get ya from point A to B. (I hope. 3 months is a long time.) Plus we'll be too busy talking about the movie for music anyway.
