Apparently the folks at WB are still on the fence about renewing Angel (9 p.m. ET/PT), which makes one wonder what in the WB they're waiting for. Maybe they will find a new show that will do better in this time slot, though it's just as likely they won't. But it's almost certain that the network won't find a show that will be better than Angel has been this season — as witness tonight's action-packed hour.
