I might hope that maybe the artists for the Serenity Comic would be there, but Joss will do

Hi all!

I am a real newbie (first post!!!) on this board but already devotedly obsessed I fear!

Anyway, I am living in the Berkshire/Reading area at the moment as an au pair and I’m dying to find out about all the UK events and Shindigs coming up. Could anyone give a run down of anything big that I should be jumping up and down about and scheduling like mad to get in on?

I would really appreciate any info to further fuel my giddy excitement after buying the DVD’s and shooting my resolve straight out of the window by watching 13 episodes in less than a week (I’m saving the 14th as solace after a really bad day !)

Hey Phi!

Quite close to me then - I live near High Wycombe but used to live in Crowthorne and went to school in Reading. But that was a long time ago...

Anyhow, we have our little meeting this coming Saturday and hopefully there'll be some more in the future as not many can make this one. Of course the big thing at the moment is the Serenity 2 convention - not on until November but we've already been rambling on about it A LOT! Check out the thread here and at www.starfury.co.uk for more info on that.

Rumour has it that Serenity Cast/Crew (maybe even JW!) will be appear at the London Film & Comic Convention at the end of June - but we're taking that with a major pinch of salt at the moment.

Thanks so much for the info Fray.

I can't believe that the convention is in November, I'm not going to be in the country... arghhhhhhh!!!!!

The London Film & Comic Convention sounds promising though, I'll have to check it out - June I can do!
