I think it's really doubtful that Monty is Mal's father, because in Our Mrs. Reynolds, when he was talking to Saffron, it sort of sounded like his father was deceased, or at least, not in the picture. Maybe this would have been their big personality-clashing years of resentment reunion though.

The last 3 must be leaked or included on DVD or something. They couldn't just gather dust on a shelf indefinitely. Or could they? The injustice is unbearable

so...saw a new pic when I logged in here tonight to peruse (sp?) through the threads...looks like it might be from Heart of Gold:

Obviously, _someone_ has seen and screen captured from some of the remaining episodes. Why oh why can't they share them with the rest of us???

I also have to concure (again, not my greatest spelling day) that the gag reel rocked...and made me more eager than ever to see the remaining episodes :)

Isn't that a screenshot from Serenity? Mal says "Somebody's gotta make an honest living around here" and then there's a jump cut to that.

Not to put the kibbosh on the anticipation.

Could be...I'll have to look back through Serenity. Its not a really big picture...but the reason I was thinking it was _HOG_ perhaps was because the person (pardon my crassness) on the bottom doesn't look like Inara...close, but not quite. ...Then again, perhaps its just wishful thinking :)

Pretty sure it's Inara in the Serenity ep. I'd say 99% sure, but I haven't watched it in a few days.

Succatash, I hope this gives you that 1% you need to be sure.
It is Inara in that picture. The man on top of her is the one who listened to her talk about home, and then left on a very cold, professional note.
Poor girl needs to get a real man who will care a little bit more about her.
