I was rewatching the Train Job last night and something occurred to me that hadn't before. When River starts riffing about 'they'll never stop looking for what you stole' (or words to that effect), I had assumed originally she was talking about the medicine. But, since she immediately goes into the 2 x 2, hands of blue speech, it dawned on me that she was talking about herself. So either She stole something or she's referring to herself and Simon's 'stealing' of her.

Having watched the trailer, the assassin's comment about 'it's worse than you think' made me think she might be referring to something she stole.

Just a thoght.

I think it's pretty clear she's talking about herself.

But I guess she might not have been the only thing hiding in that big ol' box.

At this point I usually assume everyone's seen the series, which is what I was talking about there... I haven't seen the movie and don't know any more about it than I've seen in the trailer.

If it is trailers about the show you're worried about, then I apologize and I'll be more careful next time.

River's always thinking about 80 or so things at once, pulling them all together. Although her brother and others might think she's referring to the medicine, those of us out here who know the premise - or certainly should by the time Train Job starts - should have an inkle of what she's referring to, or whom.

I never once though that River's comment about 'what you've stolen' had anything to do w/ anything EXCEPT her. Sure, it's a cryin' shame about the missing Pasq. D shipment, but they can always get more. Some might die there, and things might get hairy for those who need it, but it's just meds, after all. If ya notice, River is constantly feeling remorse for having put Simon through all this . That kinda bugged me after a while. Clearly she understands ( and comprehends )what Simon has done for her, giving up his very fancy life, because he loves his sister. Yet she keeps feeling regret... ugh!

Holy Cow! Good guess.

I've seen Serenity and there's actually something (probably unintentional) about your logic. When River says "get back what you stole" she's probably just refering to herself. BUT you are right about the whole "it's worse than you think" aspect presented in the trailer. Something else was "stolen" along with River. Her comment in the Train Job, in this respect, has a lot more meaning.

Man I can't wait to see Serenity again.
