I just wanted to point out something: according to the Bush administration Fahrenheit 9-11 was completely correct with every single thing presented with one minor exception. That means that it, though not necessarily it’s creator, was a reliable source of information.

Now I do not claim to be an expert on Michael Moore, but I do believe that when his propagandistic rivals say he is honest he is honest. The Bush administration has said he is honest, the fact that they did not say it on the front page on a high traffic day is perhaps a sign of their opinion of the need to recognize the truth.

The fact is that when someone presents entirely factual information to the public I think they are a reliable source of information. When someone makes a single mistake I still consider that person fairly reliable.

I do not claim that the man is a reliable unbiased source, but none of his adversaries have pointed to a single situation in which a RELIABLE source says he intentionally told or presented a mistruth.

On the other hand I can point to situations where those people that run our country, the President and Vice President for example, have been shown to have done this many times, the source was the United States Congress.

-

I trust the Congress unless I have strong evidence not to as it is a bipartisan organization with no clear ulterior motive, therefore I must believe that the leaders of this country have intentionally mislead the American people many times.

The alternative is to believe that the US Government is incredibly corrupt.

In a democracy such as the US the elected leaders are held to a higher standard, not a lower one.

The American people have spoken, President Bush and Vice President Cheney were not in the wrong.

If they were doing something as morally deplorable as you imply the Republican Party would never have nominated them, incumbency or not. I refuse to believe that so many of the republicans of this nation are corrupt, regardless of what you may claim RMS.

Even if they are, why would a majority of Americans who cared enough to vote elect someone who had betrayed them? They wouldn’t.

The President and the Vice President were not wrong when they deliberately misled us for their own purposes. If they had been, and still got reelected, then democracy would have been proven a failure.

If deliberately misleading the American people is acceptable even under the higher standard we hold our leaders to making an error or two in an otherwise completely factual presentation is acceptable.

Michael Moore could not have been in the wrong, because if he were it would mean that the President was, the Vice President was, and the majority of voting Americans were as well.

I refuse to believe that our country has come to that.

On a serious note,

Yeah I know:
“Heretic! Heretic! Burn the witch!”
But bear with me before all of the punishment for not getting with the program.

I’ll start again.

On a serious note:

What is up with the damn organic farm thing? Everyone seems to want organically grown food, what inorganic way is there to grow food?

If everyone eats and drinks only organically grown and harvested stuff why can’t I market hemlock as the latest heath drink, “Drink the stuff of geniuses. When Socrates first tasted it he knew he wouldn’t drink anything else till the day he died. Just one time and you’ll soon be free of all illness,”?

Ok, so maybe that didn’t come out totally serious, in which case I won’t be burned at the stake, but I do want to know:

What exactly is an inorganic vegetable?

Sorry it’s slightly off topic.

Yeah, I know,
“Heretic! Heretic! Burn the witch!”

OOOOH! My turn!

Our elected representatives really do care about our best interest.

Our tax dollars only go to fund moral actions and have never gone to terrorists, mass murderers and dictators. (and so of course they can't go towards stem cell research cause that would be wrong)

A strong military will protect us from tyranny.

Conservative judges are never activist or revisionist.

Liberal judges are never activist or revisionist.

The drug war can be won, and is worth prosecuting.

The drug war doesn't make selling drugs more profitable to criminals.

Police, and FBI agents never abuse their power. So giving them more power can never be wrong.

Hobbes was wrong people are good, but that means he was right in investing power in the sovereign, cause the sovereign is good to!

Oh, and furthermore, I don't hate my job and my cubicle. I am well compensated for the years of my life I am totally wasting!

This game is not depressing at all.

Religion has never been used as a reason to kill people, merely as a tool to get them to believe the right thing or send them to a better place.
There really is a 'them', after all if they ain't us, they're them, and them is bad, not at all like us, who never do bad stuff, we only make understandable mistakes.
Dark Angel was just a silly show that had nothing to say about where we might be going...America as an Ex-superpower neo third world country, IMPOSSIBLE! We will rule economically forever!

Yeah, and Chrisisall can go weeks without working Dark Angel in somewhere Chrisisall

Rush Limbaugh is an unbiased accurate source of information.

Mr. Gannon was just trying to go straight.

Democratic fillibusters are just a waste of breath.

Republicans never blocked a presidential appointment.

Condoms don't prevent venereal disease.

Sen. Joe Biden isn't a phony or a plagarist.

Dick Cheney comes off as a sweet old man.

George Bush shouldn't be insulted that he wasn't alerted of a possible attack on Washington.

Separation of Church and State is an overrated antiquated concept.

Tom Delay is an honest man.

Joe Lieberman is a staunch democrat.
