I genuinely think this one will last till the end. It is in the 24 timeslot, and looks like it will reach the 24 audience. I actually have expectations that this one will make it.

How tragic was it that John Doe got cancelled...? oh, don't get me started.
There used to be a time when I taped EVERYTHING I liked in fear of it being cancelled. Realizing how psychotic that could be - and expensive when VHS cost real money - I stopped. Much to my regret, that means I now have NOTHING of John Doe.

I put this in a different thread, but in case the John Doe fan's didn't see this, I'll put it here too.
Former Fox chief Gail Berman offered up the secret to John Doe about a year ago...
"[According to the show], when you're very close to death, when you're seeing the white light, God or a higher being gives you all the information of life to carry on to the next life," Berman says. Doe was about to die, but for whatever reason -- Berman didn't say why, -- he lived after being imparted with that knowledge.
The shadowy people who were after Doe knew what happened to him and were trying to keep him from discovering it himself, Berman says.
That was the theory behind the show.
