Seriously, dude. Not to appear humorless or crotchety (I'm all for mucking about with the PC humor police, to be sure). But time and place and taste rules apply here. And it's not the first time (I seem to recall a certain UPN post some time ago...).

Can't speak for others, but I'm scanning this board and others, straining for a shred of news which will stoke the dying embers of hope, while nursing irritation (occasionally peaking into rage) and grief. Prank posts like yours, even if intended in the spirit of good fun, are *not* received that way...not by me anyway.

Trying to head off the flame war which could very easily erupt around this, and giving you the benefit of the doubt...for now.

Hope this helps calibrate your humor output algorithms (ye gods, am I a geek!).

Let's not forget this little mite is onlly 13. Why would we crush his dreams of becoming a troll? We don't have any good trolls around anymore, and if none come up soon, Mr. Pointy is going to be ending up holding up one of my potted Morning Glory Vines.

To the little troll, er mite: That was not funny. We are not old farts that don't get the teenagers of today as some of us are teenagers. The next time you want to play a joke, show it to someone first and see their reaction. If you were hoping for a huge celebration thread to laugh over, you posted too late. Too many other people posted something like this, and IT'S GETTING OLD.
