If given the choice, Serenity television series, or 2 more films?

Let's just assume Serenity will be huge, and Universal gives Joss the choice to make two more films, or a series on the sci-fi network which Universal owns. I myself would be overjoyed at the thought of another tv series, which would also bring over the new converts from the film. After Serenity is released, Joss will be as big as George Lucas. I don't think he will make a Buffy season 1 special edition w/ new enhanced computer generated monsters though. So new Series, or two more big budget movies?

How many eps do I get guaranteed for this new season?
I want 2 years worth, minimum, meaining at least 40 eps.
Prefer a whole 7 year run but gotta at least guarantee me 2. One for each movie sacrificed....

I would want the series on a channel that isn't reliant on cable. Sci-fi channel is only available through cable and many people will not subscribe just for one show. That would cut down on the viewers.
But choice between series and 2 movies....difficult choice. I would have to go with a series. Especially if 2 seasons are garaunteed. Plus the series would have to be sold on DVD after each season.

That is a tough one. I would say a series, just because it could explore the characters in more depth than two more movies probably could, and because series-movie-series has never been done before, except- the scope of a theatrical feature would overshadow a series coming right after it. The following episodes, no matter how good, would inevitably be compared to a BDM.
I think I'd like to see a mini-series/movie/mini-series/movie deal. Best of both worlds.
To answer your question, movies, I guess. It's a hard call.

I'd want a series back. You can do stuff in a series you just can't do in a movie.
But I very much doubt we'll get the choice, thanks to that contractual thing with Fox.

Well, of course I'd prefer to have the series - the character development and entertainment hours would be much more interesting to me. Joss has, unfortunately, clearly stated that he feels the concept has grown too large for the small screen, and he sees no chance of it returning there. 
But hey, it's his world.

Series:
1) Most of my mates have SF, so it would be a no brainer. And heck: I got cable just to watch Buffy regardless of what part of the country I'd moved to, so I could see myself doing it with SF as well.
2)Character Development: Big Things happen in movies, whereas the subtleties of human character can shine over a season (or 7).
3)Movies are too much like big ads nowadays; in the action /SF genre anyway, too many writers/producers seem to be beholden to some 'formula' that gets films sold, and that includes spin and a sense of product placement. bleah.
and I want a BUNCH of DVD sets, not just 3 
!
