I've never been into comic books, but I would buy these. Or at the very least, encourage my brother to read them and then "borrow" them.

The Jayne cover looks sort of like Joss suddenly grew six inches and is implacably determined to find out who took the last jelly doughnut.

sadistic crap legitimized by florid prose

does anyone know of a site (US like Amazon.com) that has the comic books up for sale? I've tried looking on Amazon but all I get is the novelization of Serenity and other things by Joss Whedon.

I don't usually buy comics. Do you think Borders or Barnes & Noble would carry them?

Most bookstores don't carry individual issues of comics in the US, or if they do, they only do it for the really big ones like X-Men, Spider-Man, and the like - more will get the collected versions when they come out.

I've never used them (since I have a local comic shop that's quite good), but http://www.milehighcomics.com does deal in single issues, as do many other online comic stores. Keep in mind the issues aren't actually out yet. :)

Great! I hope that it comes out soon! School is ending on June 17 and I need some summer reading!

You can also go to www.tfaw.com.

Wow, these comics look so great! The people don't look weird, which is nice, and everything else-- the dialog, the background, etc. feels just right. I'm on the edge of my seat-- What will Mal do!?

I have heard of a place where humans do battle in a ring of Jell-O.

Hey, sis. It's a good idea to put your quote in italics or quotations, so people know it's a quote. Oh, and you smell. I don't like you. And you can get your own comics!
