I feel your pain, Knibblet. I didn't know I was going to be in Minneapolis on May 26, and I didn't know about the screenings until a day too late anyway. Should anyone have a ticket, I would be so happy and would do almost anything 
but I can wait until September. Then Serenity will be my reward for passing the comprehensive exams *knock on wood*

Y'all can't blame me for scaring off the scalpers - you have to blame the ghost of 'big games' past.
Ebay revoked the privileges of users who scalped tickets in MN a couple of years ago. Seems someone mentioned to ebay that it's against the law in MN. (nope, it wasn't me ... really, it wasn't).
I think that those who do scalp for a living, know that they have to market their wares in some other fashion. Ebay will pull them in half a heartbeat.
I'm getting psyched about the Browncoat Bonfire. If you haven't joined the Yahoo group as of yet, do so soon. We'd love to see all Twin Cities and Hudson area Independents around the fire.

I was home all day (sicker'n a dog) but went the Twins game this evening.

My B-i-L, Bob, aka Volstad, has put me on his "dead to me" list because I'm going and he isn't.

....Jealousy! Seriously Jealous.
I some how managed to miss all this stuff on the MN screening til two days ago (working an 80 hour week of tech support where I can't open FFF.net at work might have had something to do with it) I would SO go if anyone.... happened to have a spare ticket they could share. The citys is only a paltry drive from Fargo.
And a shindig would rock.
...but alas I also work that night... and have no ticket, so I will remain within the Jealous crew. Have fun for those of us who were perpetually slow!

Mr. Knibblet is in the witness protection program and won't be able to attend -- okay, he's a night shifter and is working that evening.
Michael and Dayna and their 4 kids are going to be there ... including the supertalented Marshall who will keep the ladies dancing all evening. If Moon and I come to blows over the affections of Marshall, please remind us that he's only 2 and we should behave ourselves.
We have room for lots of folks, this whole bonfire/bbq thing is an artform for us. You've not seen good times until you've cooked marshmallows and sung "You can leave your hat on" at 3:00 am.
