hi -

my sister's Producer of Entertainment Today on the UK Breakfast tv show GMTV (watched, according to them, by 4m people). i gave her a heads up re. Serenity, which she knew about, and the whole getting Firefly back in production thing, which she didn't... she's going to look into it and hopefully run a feature! i hope it works out and contributes to the cause. if does help, then a "hi" from Summer would really make my day! :)

Not really. There was contracty stuff mentioned around the time of the movie deal announcement that pretty much nixes any resurrection of the series.

Well, we may not be able to resurrect the series, but we've been able to resurrect the show...in another form.

oh, ok. i'm new here - just got into Firefly after a friend recommended dvds to me and now i'm totally hooked. i had heard (and was really hoping...) that Fox may resurrect the show depending on how the movie goes over - is that not the case?

also, anybody know if there are any UK pre-screenings scheduled like they're doing stateside this month?
