So I'm a knitter. Not a great one, but okay. If you went to the Vegas screening, you saw my handiwork on my boyfriend. The hat even earned a comment from Mr. Whedon himself, and although that's probably what he says to every fanboy in a Jayne hat, it was enought to stun my normally verbose BF.

Anyway, everyone is trying to convince me to sell replicas of the hat. I'm starting this thread to see if there is any demand. Here's some basic info:
1. The hat will be one size fits all, unless you are a mutant.
2. It will be made from a natural fiber blend (wool and synthetic) unless you specifically want one or the other.
3. Each hat takes 5-6 hours to make.

Given the time involved, plus materials, I can't see charging much less than $50 per hat. That's a lot. Would anyone be interested in buying one at that price?

Space chickens is largely protein.

Yeah, I figured someone had already beat me to it. Don't know how she can sell them for so little, though.
