sigh. nothing closer than a 4 hour drive for me. :( again. guess i will wait until september.

you know, there is not any specific reason to have the new screenings in the many of the same cities as the last screenings. :(

i am just venting because i am disappointed.

1:50 PM: I am done updating since the official site is working again and there are only three cities with tickets left. I'll make a note of it on my blog ( http://www.JacquelinePassey.com/)when they're all gone.

The official website for this information http://www.cantstopthesignal.com/ appears to be updating now.

Officially SOLD OUT: Atlanta, Austin, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Hartford, Kansas City, Las Vegas, Minneapolis, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Portland, Providence, San Francisco, Seattle, Washington DC.

Tickets possibly still available:

Miami, FL http://tinyurl.com/77t32
Norfolk, VA http://tinyurl.com/czddo
Sacramento, CA http://tinyurl.com/a62vv
Does "sold out" really mean sold out? Some of the "possibly still available" cities are rumored to be "sold out" online. However there are other rumors that is just a software glitch, and if it is really sold out it will tell you as soon as you click on the screening time, not at the end of the purchasing process. You might want to check with the theater directly if http://www.cantstopthesignal.com/ claims they have tickets but the ticket website claims they're sold out.

Tickets are already being resold on eBay: http://tinyurl.com/drgox

Thanks to the posters on Browncoats, FireflyFans.net, Livejournal, Serenity Spoilers, and Whedonesque for updates throughout the day!

According to Fandago, the Norfolk,VA screening is already sold out!! I'm very depressed, but I'm still going to call the theatre in the morning to make sure it is in fact sold out.

Final update 9:30 PM: According to the official site http://www.cantstopthesignal.com/ all 20 cites are now officially sold out: Atlanta, Austin, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Hartford, Kansas City, Las Vegas, Miami, Minneapolis, Norfolk, Philadelphia, Phoenix, Portland, Providence, Sacramento, San Francisco, Seattle, Washington DC.

Tickets are already being resold on eBay: http://tinyurl.com/drgox

Thanks to the commenters on my blog and the posters on Browncoats, FireflyFans.net, Livejournal, Serenity Spoilers, and Whedonesque for updates throughout the day!

For those of you who didn't see this post until after everything was over, I'd posted a list of cities, links to buy tickets, and rumors about the May 26th sneak preview screenings for the Firefly movie Serenity to my blog ( http://www.JacquelinePassey.com/) and various fan sites. Tickets started selling around 3 or 4 AM Pacific time for Seattle with other cities added throughout the morning but the official website was not being updated. Lots of scattered information was being posted to various fan message boards but there was no central collection of links and information. So I took it upon myself to create it! It was a wild ride as I updated this post with new information every 10-15 minutes all morning until the official site started updating again this afternoon.

Thanks again to everyone who helped or paid my blog a visit today. Enjoy the movie!

Ruttin' luck!

I tried for HOURS to get tickets to either DC, Philly or Norfolk. I was on the phone while the wife was online. We struck out all the way around.

Guess I am not meant to see the BDM until September. *sighs*
