Gorram it! All the tickets are going to be sold out long before they even post anything online. Way to go Browncoats!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I can see it now;

Universal executive on phone to Serenity webmaster;

UNI EXEC: All right, you can update the site with the new advance screenings for the 26th.

Webmaster: Well, I would but there is a slight problem.

UNI EXEC: What problem is that?

Webmaster: Well you see, all the tickets have already been sold.

UNI EXEC: (after moment of silence) Fuck it. We'll just release the movie tomorrow.

Oh, and play Cantr II at www.cantr.net.

Very nice thanks! I tried at work and my ancient Mac OS fried on the site. So I left work and drove home to a newer OS - but it looks like Chicago is soldout - all I get when I go to confirm the puchase is a "May 9th" date and I can't change it. I'll be ok - go have fun everyone!

Yeah either Chicago is sold out or the movietickets site is having problems (or both).

Getting on the official browncoats board is a challenge, to say the least. It's down more often than not. Yet the highest number I've seen "currently online" there is like 392. Not exactly huge...

This is what worries me about the movie launch. Yes, we're a rabid fan base, but how large are we really?

I tried the Atlanta link, but all I get is "Can't proccess request"

I can't find it on Fandango anywhere. It would be awesome to see it play in Tampa, but since I'll be going to NC Friday anyway- I might be able to make it to Atlanta on Thursday (if my truck doesn't break down- which is horribly likely)

I wouldn't be worried.

And the real point of these screenings are to bring non-Browncoats in and have them fall in love with it and have more people to sing the praises of Serenity/Firefly.

Hey Browncoat1 and other Washington DC area Browncoats!!!!!!!! Don't give up yet on DC. On the Whedonesque website in the thread for these previews, it turned out DC said sold out for a while, but then people tried again later and were able to get tickets.

So don't give up quite yet. Give it another shot.

Hey BC1, no promises, and I very serious when I say no promises, but I might have an extra ticket for the D.C. showing. I bought 4, and one of my friends is a "maybe". If I were you, I'd buy a Philly ticket to be safe, and I'll let you know if I have a free ticket.

Who knows, maybe someone near Philly bought a D.C. ticket before the Philly ones went on sale. There might be a trade possible...
