**SPOILER** I may have seen a spoiler

Okay, someone posted on the main board, in a general-topic thread with no kinda warning, that Simon dies in the movie. Now, tell me that's not true.
Seriously, tell me that. I don't know if it's true or not, currently - I immediatly closed the window, so I just saw the two words "Simon" and "dies" near eachother. So just, as convincingly as possible, tell me that doesn't actually happen. If it does, than, lie; if not, than, it doesn't really matter what you say.
I mean, I have a hard time believing that as it is - why would a charactor die so soon? And one of the most important ones? The *docter*?
Thanks,
-Steve

That depends on what the meaning of the word "die" is.

True story: Bill Gates was asked a question under oath and replied "That depends on what your definition of 'is' is."
As for your question, well, if we say yes, that's a spoiler. If we say no, that's a spoiler true. I'm saying nothing other than: don't go looking for an answer except at your local movie theatre September 30th.

The guy who posted that is a tool. He has been all over the movie boards trying to stir up trouble during the last few days. Your best bet is to stay away from the official boards for a while until they can get some moderators to reign him in. My only worry is that people like him will turn to FFF.net once they become banned from the official sites.

Having finally gotten to see the film in the last round of screenings, (yay) I will answer this thus:
That post was made by someone just trying to get attention. There are several trolls on the browncoats boards. I dont believe any of them has actually seen the film. That SAID:
This is not your safe little firefly verse as you've come to know it. Mal is a lot darker...almost to the point where I'm not sure I sympathize with him as much. (like...yes. He's a much more interesting character now. Sympathize with? Weeeeellll...)
At the end of the film, ALL BETS ARE OFF. You might want to keep that in mind going into the film.
"Also? I can kill you with my brain."

Actually, it was Bill Clinton, not Bill Gates. You did get the right first name, though.

It is, however, somewhat fuzzy on the subject of kneecaps.
