Hmmm...the chat has autoscroll. I have a little JavaScript thing in the chat window that automatically scrolls to the bottom. That didn't happen for you? It sounded like it didn't.

Hm. I just went back and "send" worked. I tried manually refreshing the page the first time and that didn't work. But maybe exiting and reentering did? I think somebody was there that time and I still had a blank right window. Maybe timestamps would also help let people know? Even if people showed up on the right, they might have just left a window open and forgotten, so I timestamp would show if it was really active. I dunno.
There is nothing in the right window (I haven't written it yet).
FYI, the chat window is currently set to refresh every 10 seconds.
I'll add the timestamp. But because of the time difference between where the website is and the rest of the users on here, it's not going to be an accurate indicator, but I'll put it in anyway so you can mentally figure in the time different. This website is currently at -10 GMT.
A better solution is for me to hurry up and finish the user listing for that right window.

Let me know if you continue to have drop posts. I still haven't figured out what is causing that yet.

Okay, I added something in the right window. It'll now show who is chatting.
I also made some changes to attempt to resolve the dropped post issue. Let me know if you continue to get dropped post.

Things seem to be going much more smoothly- less jerkiness and not much trouble with drop posts... now all we need is for more people to show up...

I just now got round to checking out the chat feature. Seems pretty solid to me. One problem for me, which you probably can't do anything about: I have a little click sound assigned to the Explorer/Start Navigation event. So when I have the chat window open I get a click every 2 or 3 seconds. I'm guessing there's no way you can do HTML chat without that, right?
A time stamp feature (Zicosft 8:20pm:) would be nice.
