Regarding tickets for Can't Stop The Signal, Chris says:

I'm always amazed that someone would pay a crazy amount for a ticket to anything... until the Red Sox got into the playoffs against the Angels (face reddens). But seriously, Browncoats should stay tuned to the boards for more news. Universal was overwhelmed by the amazing response and are huddled trying to figure out how to respond.

Even if nothing happens and we're being fed fan friendly platitudes, it's still exciting to see that the screening has struck a chord w/ the folks at 'versal.

Pretty exciting, none the less.

I like the comment about non-fans spreading the word. I'd call them Browncoats though because that is what they have are now. They're one of us.

There's been plenty said on another thread 'bout the execs at 'Versal being just buisnessmen, and I'm sure that's also true, but what about the real enthusiasm that must be flowing through them? I mean they are promoting a film every gorram last one of 'em must love, not an altogether unenjoyable situation, right?

Well.. there's good businessmen ('Versal) and bad businessmen (F*X). The good ones know when they've got a great franchise. The bad ones obviously don't... and Firefly isn't the only example of F*X's stupidity. If you watched Family Guy the other night, they read off a long littany of F*X's stupidity in cancelling great shows.

Better action figures (the only available ones right now are kinda lackin...)

C'mon, plastic ships are like, a must-have for sci-fi stuff... we'd pay well for em.

And for the high-end big spenders... (or those willing to beg and borrow that much).

There are other threads here updating this project, but here you go. Maybe not official, but it sure sounds authentic. I can't afford one, but I'll bet they won't be able to keep up with demand.
