I'm kind of annoyed you're not selling them together. I'm not bidding on them if there's a chance I lose on one and can't bring my husband with me, especially given how far we would have to travel.

Nor am I paying a "buy it now" price 20 times that of the cost of a ticket. Sheesh.

PHYSCHICK - Yeah, I thought about putting them together, but in the end I thought it was as likely that someone might want a single ticket, and at least this way if you want two tickets you could buy them both, though it would be difficult obviously, but it is possible. And so selling them seperately it is at least possible for either someone theoretically wanting two tickets or someone wanting one ticket to get what he/ she wants. You know what I mean? And I know $200 is way out there, but I just picked that arbitrarily because thats what I saw the auction for another Seattle ticket was at. I didn't make that my reserve or anything.

Zoid - Really in the end I put the tickets up at face value and so where it goes from there is entirely up to the fans. Is it fair that I was lucky enough to get my ticket for 9 dollars while other people now have to pay more to get tickets? No its not, but if you think it gets to a point where it is so unfair then you just don't have to bid on it, its that simple. It is entirely up to people who want to see the movie how much the tickets go for. For a fan out there it could be worth it to them to spend however much money, so what do you care.

I also don't appreciate you implying like this money is going to some luxury like a limo. My friend is a loyal browncoat, a better one than I, but she lives in New York and was shut out of the Boston screening. But she was willing to pay a large price to fly across the country to come to Seattle and see it. So I think that if someone else is willing to pay a similarly large sum of money and split the cost of going with her then that is perfectly fair.

I certainly didn't buy extra tickets with the intention of scalping, but that's beside the point and I think it is stupid that I feel like I should have to defend myself to you.

I see random people come around at other places for the first time and try to sell things or advertise stuff, and I guess I resent them and am annoyed by them, so I do understand. I guess my point is just that wasn't my intention at all. I regret posting this here because of that, for sure. But at this point, here at least, I don't care about the auction and I just feel like I am defending my honor against Zoid who attacked me assuming the worst things possible about my character.

I guess everyone is a bit wary of newcomers now that we know there are some people portraying themselves as Browncoats and shitting in the sandbox that all of us like to play in. Plus everyone knows that the tickets sold out in a few hours, so if anyone bought them and bought extra without meaning to use them themselves, that just screams "scalper". It's like why get extra, meaning you took away tickets that could have gone to other fans at the regular price, and now they have to finance your friend's trip in order to have the privilege of going when you had the privilege at just 10 bucks ? You'd have to have realized that that is gonna cause resentment from some people.

Wanna know the honorable thing? Tell you're friend you'll hock your iPod and send her the money, but that she's gotta find the rest herself. Then call your local Big Brothers/Big Sisters and donate all your spare tickets to them. Failing that, take the tickets with you to the theatre and then give them away to the neediest people you see standing around. It'll be good for your soul, I promise.
