Awlright! I love those guys! Their comics are pretty fun, actually, and I'm glad their excited about Serenity, even if it is in their own borderline psychotic way. Nyuk.

Pretty funny strip, too. Mmm, River choc.

Cheers for the link, Vanes!

This is pretty darn nifty. Even better than them putting a link to the trailer on their mainpage, in fact.

It is nice to know that there are so many fans of the show/movie out there, but why was all this support being held back during the darks times I refer to as BT, or Before Trailer? I guess that now that everyone has something concrete to link to, they can more easily show the unenlightened the glory that is Firefly, but I am still curious as to why they had been withholding their support until now.

Oh, well, I will just be thankful that Tycho and Gabe are on our side and doing their part to spread the good word.

LOL! Did anyone go back one and look at the WB Star Wars series in the previous strip? That's good stuff, that is!

Well PVPonline did a couple of Firefly comics a year ago or so. . .there's just way to many archives for me to go through and find them. (At work)

Hey there, J.

I seem to recall positive critical reviews (including one by a renowned sci-fi author), a massive word of mouth campaign, and DVD sales big enough to make Universal drool and dream.

That's where the support was. It was getting this movie made.

Yeah, Scott Kurtz at PvP was one shining example of a fan embracing his love for the show and I applaud his contribution. In case any of you are unfamiliar with PvP...here are the links to the comics in question:

I think they were linked on this site a while back, but i doubt it hurts to repost this. While you are there, check out the rest of the archive. He does some pretty darn funny work.

Anyone else got decent leads on Firefly name-dropping in webcomics?

AnthonyT, I hear what you are saying. There WAS a bit of talk going on about Firefly before the trailer was released, but I was referring to the widespread support now that everyone can download and experience a few minutes of the Firefly universe from anywhere on the planet (except China, I am guessing, but that is a whole other problem altogether).

Sites like PA and Ctrl-Alt-Del never really embraced the show, or even made referrence to it until the trailer came out. I was simply wondering why they remained silent all these years.
