Well, as it stands this minute, everything except las vegas has sold out.

Man... I'd buy a ticket on ebay... or sell my soul... :)

Same thing happened to me. Kept reloading the Boston page, but I am at work so I had to tone it down a bit to about once every half hour. Eventually I got tired of checking so I called the theater itself, only to be told that the site had come up for a brief period and the tickets sold out within about a ten minute timespan.

Lo and behold, I went straight to the Fandango site and it was now working, but with the two gorram words I didn't want to see: "Sold out."

It's funny though, the guy I talked to at the theater seemed really confused. He was like "It's Serenity, right? Nobody is supposed to know what the movie is before they show it." I wonder if there's some kind of rule that these advance screenings are supposed to be kept secret.

I believe that when these things go to advance screening they are held to specific confidentiality agreements. The problem is going to be that Firefly falls into a category of "rabid fanfare" and it will not work.

I got my 4 tickets to Vegas this morning. I'm so glad I didn't wait for lunchtime to buy them.

I've never been to vegas, and it is only a 9 and a half hour drive away...

I'm sure this movie will not be weak tea.

If anyone in the ATL has an extra ticket or can't go due to whatever insane reason. I would be happy to re-imberse you for your tickets. Plus whatever is needed for shiping and handling. Email at nrw1100@alltel.net.

I hope this is ok to put in this thread.

Hope you managed to get a ticket.

Look up the Youth Hostel in Chicago if need cheap place to stay.

Search Hostels on line to find out specifics.

I'm way over in Fargo, ND - Moorhead, MN the closest big city would have been Minneapolis. But the tickets sold way before I found out I didn't have to try and talk myself out of buying air fare somewhere. Especially since I just purchased ticket to Atalanta to go to DragonCon in Sept.

I just stumbled onto the tickets last night. I didn't have to work today so I was up late drinking. I got home around 2:10 went to the offical site( www.serenitymovie.com) looking to check out the trailer again...maybe get some wallpaper(disapointed as there is none featuring Morena, Jewel, or Gina...or anybody for that matter), and the pointer highlited the "cant stop the signal" area so I clicked on it. The link took me to the site www.cantstopthesignal.com. After a few seconds I realized immediately what it was, jumped up to grab my credit card and promptly bought a pair of tickets.

Afterwards I IM'ed my friend (the man who originally turned me onto Firefly) and told him I had got him a ticket. I think he actually soiled himself. I feel like one lucky S.O.B.

Anyway this has definitely nade my month!!!

p.s. did anyone else notice that in the cast photo on the official site that Book is nowhere to be found. The trailer even states that there are "SIX" rebels
