Just to confirm, Boston was not sold out. It really was technical difficulties. I just purchased a ticket 5 minutes ago. Though the site is running a bit slow.

I just want to take one moment to say: "I'm so happy! I love Joss! (and advance screenings)"

Um....well....we'll see if that worked but fandango just let me purchase two tickets for the previously and currently sold out showing. Tentative joy!!!

Yes, I take full responsibility for prematurely saying that Boston was sold out. I got myself some tickets not too long ago. Hope this doesn't mess too many people up.

For the record, though, you couldn't even get in contact with the theater via phone (believe me, I tried)...so I think at least some of the blame should fall on their side.

It is 12pm EST and fandango is dead...me thinks someone underestimated the number of us flans out there.

Grr.. I never even had a chance. I tried for over an hour for the boston one but didn't get to it because of the tech. issues, and then when I got back from class (why did I go to french??) it was sold out..

Well, as it stands this minute, everything except las vegas has sold out.

Man... I'd buy a ticket on ebay... or sell my soul... :)

I know exactly how you feel. I was prepared to visit an atm May 5th and get wads upon wads of money and head to the theater in hope of bribing a ticket out of someone.

I'm still keeping that plan B in reserve. I think I'll see if I can pick up my tickets from the theater tomorrow just so they won't have too long to think about cancelling my order.

Well, something else actually took place regarding this. Yesterday AM (PT), there was a post up on the movie site. By the header etc. it was clearly an accident.

However, it contained the essential information about the screenings, and enough folks saw it to start looking around.

I got my tickets yesterday at 4:15pm PT

The Portland of Oregon? I know he meant to differentiate that from the one of Maine, but it just sounds funny.

Sadly, I heard of this too late and will miss out on the SanFran showing. But y'all better give us reports!
