Oh, Firefly is so much better in my eyes. I never really got into Buffy or Angel. I only really bothered watching them when I realized I may get a kick out of them since I love FF.

Firefly. I enjoyed Buffy & Angel, but I think both shows were at their best when it was "urban fantasy" (i.e., when all the magic & supernatural parts had to be kept secret) that could have existed in the real world. Towards the end, when they evacuated Sunnydale, and Wolfram & Hart started being Uber-powerful. . . I still liked it, but it lost that "almost real world" charm that it once had.

I have to go with Buffy overall, but largely because Firefly never got the chance to tell its story. In my opinion, there has still never been an episode of ANY series to rival Buffy's "Hush", "The Body", or "Once More With Feeling".

I will say, however, that Firefly's first season was far better than either Buffy or Angel's first season.

I would say Buffy without a doubt for the exact same reasons as spikeandjezebel. Buffy is my favorite show ever followed by Angel.

I would rate seasons as follows based on fun factor for me to watch:

Buffy Season III
Angle Season V
Firefly

Rest of seasons of Buffy and Angel I'd have to think about and I'm not feeling that ambitious right now...
