We are so going to kick SWIII: TSBIB's sorry butt. At least from a story/characters/acting standpoint. From a box office standpoint --which is the only thing that apparently matters in Hollywood -- we'll still be parking Lucas' car and manicuring his garden; but I'll call it a win (a la Jayne).

Right, just to repeat the offer I made about the trailer. I've seen the rough cut and I'm quite happy to make a post somewhere saying how spoilerish the trailer is, from 1 (where 1 is the Showgirls trailer) to 10 (which is the Speed 2 trailer). Then you can decide for yourself if you want to watch it. Sound good?
And it's so wrong that I'm excited about seeing a trailer for a movie I've already seen. A temporal hype paradox, perhaps.

I hate being spoiled
(like telling me 'who done it' before I read the mystery)
actually sometimes I don't even want casting spoilers
(luckily I didn't know Giles was gonna show up for the last two episodes of BtVS S6, and it was THRILLING when he appeared saying "I'd like to test that theory" - I actually burst into tears - you know it would never have been so exciting if I had known he was coming ahead of time).
I do trust Joss to prevent any serious spoilers to get into the trailer, but he probably wants to protect the 'Firefly' fans who know what to look for, and will 'get' a lot of information from even a glimpse....
oh why isn't it September yet?

A spoiler free version of the trailer? What a good idea and I might just be able to do that. I have spiffy new machine. I have video editing software. Plus I know which bits are spoilers and which bits aren't.
Wow, I could be like one of those DVD editing machines that cuts out violence, sex and words like "poopy" from films.

If you don't want to register on the browncoats site, you can go directly to Apple's site and it's movie trailers. The browncoat site just has a link to there anyway, if I'm interpreting the above quote correctly...
