I think a lot of this has to do with registration, I`m going to be coming up as normal (change later into Wild West stuff), there was talk of Macdonalds being close by (I would suggest a Banner or Flag if we meet up at McDonalds).
I`m most likely to be up late morning or earlier if we are going to meet up (some people will have arrived the day before so perhaps they can chip in with recommendations when they arrive the night before)
Still haven`t found out about times for Hitchhikers guide to the Galaxy outing - Simonwho had recommendations but I would suggest we all start queueing for reg as soon as arriving at the con (that`s as soon as there`s a designated spot to queue), that way it will leave plenty of time to go travelling - I`ll make room in my car if neccessary (although I don`t know the directions so a navigator would be handy to the cinema!)
How about we say meet up a McDonalds form 11am onwards until say 1230pm then start queueing? I don`t know what the queue will be like for the reg desk (anybody been to a Starfury Event before can report??)

I’m cuckoo-go-crazy over here.
Less than a week until con and I feel like there’s a bajillion things to do. (Bajillion is slightly higher than a gazillion, BTW) I keep having nightmares that some strange series of events will occur that will conspire to keep me from Serenity. Like an unpaid parking ticket from 10 years ago will suddenly pop-up and the federal government will become more Nazi-like than usual and put a hold on my passport. Or perhaps my uncomplimentary (yet hi-larious and true) comments about good ole’ W will have earned me a spot on some terrorist list.
Like I said, cuckoo.
Okay, how many of ya'll are planing on being there for the Friday night stuff?

McDonalds is only a few minutes walk from the Thistle. Just walk out into the street from the hotel, turn right, and McDonalds is on the left hand side by the garage.
As far as queueing for reg, most people just go into the Business Centre and wait for registration to open. There will be people there most of the day, since it seems that quite a few are arriving on Thursday.

*** Update on the Hitchhikers guide to the Galaxy, it does open on the 28th at selected cinemas (or maybe that`s just preview) - I might just go and see it Thursday, and if there`s time, go with the browncoats to see it on Friday too ***

Sadly Adam Baldwin has had to cancel his appearance at STARFURY:
SERENITY next weekend due to acting commitments.
I was contacted late last night and informed that Adam had been
unable to secure time off from his new TV series, THE INSIDE. Adam
has spent the last few weeks trying to arrange something with the
production company, but Adam's workload on the series is just too
great, making it impractical for him to take any time off.
I know how dissapointed many of you will be. Adam is himself just as
dissapointed, but ultimately this is good news for Adam fans as it
means he will be having a strong presence in THE INSIDE.
An invite has been forwarded to Adam for a future STARFURY event,
we'll keep you posted.
As to a replacement guest; I sent both an e-mail and a fax to a
FIREFLY / SERENITY actor who was currently signed up for STARFURY:
SERENITY SQUARED, but who isn't at present attending STARFURY:
SERENITY. He so far has not gotten back in touch.
Given that the event is a week today, and that a guest would have to
fly out in 5 to 6 days time, there may be some difficulties in
securing a replacement. But I am currently putting all my energies
into finding a replacement guest for the convention.

As far as Friday goes, I'll have lunch before I leave and will head straight for hotel check-in. I guess then I'll lurk in the lobby looking for other people with Zol's Browncoats/Serenity badges? ;)

Aw, that's a pity. Still, we were well prepared for his having to work that weekend.
Right, must go shopping in London this weekend, buy up everything that I could possibly need. I'm also going to be printing a whole load of Alliance currency so I can buy as many companions as possible on Sunday night. Or do I need to send grovelling video pleas first? I wonder if the bar will take fake money too.
