Excellent! I live in Raleigh and for damn sure I will be there! Right now 6 of us plan to go and party down. Also 4 of us are going to DragonCon this September. This was just put up on the DragonCon site on April 18:
"Dragon*Con 05 is proud to welcome Joss Whedon and the cast of Serenity (Nathan Fillion, Morena Baccarin, Adam Baldwin, Ron Glass, and Jewel Staite)"
Woo-hoo. Extra shiny. Now I do not know if any others are showing up but we will see!

I'm thinking that space of time between the last showing Friday night and the First showing Sat. Is there a "Flying Saucer" or nice english pub about the area??

Wow. This all sounds like fun. Too bad I live in the other side of the country.
Now I wish I live in NC. It would be nice to see other people who like Firefly as much as I do. OkI better shut up before I depressed myself any futher.
OH! Too late.

Is there nothing being arranged for a Maryland event? We have lots of potential sites, ranging from the busiest theater complex in the US (Muvico Egyptian 24 at Arundel Mills near BWI, over 300K customers a month) to the Senator in Baltimore (genteel, old-school theater) to the Cinema & Drafthouse in Edgewater.
If no one else is looking into this, I'll have to take a peek I guess...

*taps fingertips together* Excellent.
I loves me some pints of the ol' cider, amongst other things. Sounds like a grand time. The Trailer has me even more enthused now. I wonder if/when we'll get multiple different trailers/tv spots.

Yeah there is a Flying Saucer out here but I don't like it...no liquor. LOL. I do like the bar Ri Ra because it has a ton of space and four seperate bars. It is located down town Raleigh and is just 2 blocks away from Flying(I think).
