This is my first attempt at a Firefly wallpaper (I just added it to the Blue Sun Room). It is available in 800x600, 1024x768, 1280x1024 and 1600x1200 versions. A zip file with all sizes can be found at http://www.ruizfamily.net/dloads/FireflyWallpaper.zip

That's really nice! I automatically put it on my computer and although it's a teensy bit too big, it looks great. Hope you'll keep up the good work and make some more!

Yes, I recreated the ouline from the original done by Mark Muller.

Hey that's beautiful! Can I just say that everyone on this site does great work! As a relative newbie to the creative side of the internet (ie, I know how to do nothing ) I'm in awe of you all. Have to say I particularly like this one and another I saw ages ago with lots of lovely quotes on it.

hi. I downloaded that zip file and I'm using one of the images for my desktop. Just wanted to let you know, though, that for some odd reason, the picture is "up too high" like off the screen, so the top parts of the upper row of character pictures is cut off and there's a wide border on the bottom. I usually use the 1024x7whatever size but also tried the smaller one, which comes out a BIT better but still cut off. I don't know if this happens with PCs but it's happening with my Mac. Still nice but if there's a solution, I'd appreciate it.

Apologies for diving in and resurrecting threads and such without really looking around.
I've spent a while Googling and this seems to be the most promising and non-time-consuming avenue, anyway.

I'd very much like to use the wallpaper at the start of this thread; however, I'm personally less keen on the pictures along the top and bottom. I can't cut them out because that'd clip the Firefly logo (which I'm ambivalent about, but it's mainly that picture of Serenity that I'm after) - and I'm not good enough at image editing to remove the top part without it looking rubbish.

So!
Does anybody have that particular picture, as it is, on its own, at the same size as the 1280x1024 or 1600x1200 wallpapers here?
