FAQ?

One thing I would really like to see is space for a FAQ.. something that could be easily updated..

We're building an entire Firefly reference database that I feel is superior to a FAQ. It's far from complete, but check it out.

the database is very nice..
but can never replace a good FAQ..

The database is more for the regulars,
whereas, a FAQ is for the Newbies just coming here for the first time..

"Why is firefly gone?"
"How did Firefly get low ratings?"
"Whats up with the penguins?"
"how do ratings work?"
etc etc.. just regular questions that we see again and again..

Just my 2 Cents.

Call me a dumabass if you want, but I'm going to go ahead and say it: I'm a fairly deeply entrenched regular and I have NO idea what the penguins are about.

Are there any real references to penguins in Firefly (or its 'verse) or is that just, as I suspect, something from the 'loon?

If they are part of the 'verse, I'd like to know about them. A good entry for the database, per may haps. If they're just a 'loon thing, I don't think I so much care.

I don't remember the exact quote, but it came from a written interview with joss (i think on the official site?) where he mentioned he hated penguins. (as a joke of course)..
the 'rabid' fans took it from there..

There is now a FAQ section in the reference database. I created a couple of examples. I guess I need people to submit FAQ info. Since items in the reference database are sorted alphabetically, simply add the numbering and it'll be sorted in that order.

over at the FOX site, were also trying to get a FAQ going..
we'll see how it goes, then we can start submitting copy's of the info to you as they come in.
