like i said ambe i should leave i have been getting bad resonses from a few firefly websites an all u see i feel that alot of people have been urging me to get out of the web site there in.
I know im wierd and that i know way to much about the entertainment industry and that i have a bad habit pissing people of and that I have strong belief in god and that i have a very bad habitof miss spelling. Mabe its me its just that I have been going through very hard times these past few years with my dad bein verbaly abuseive towars me or that I had to quit school on emotional reasons.
Its just that I cant take any more people makeing fun of me or just ignoring me in chat like last night. I feel that I dont belong here but I know I love Firefly and I will never stop watching it but I feel that some people just dont want me here puting up with my miss spells or stupid posts so I have thought about just leaving and not coming back I know this is a poor me post but I just had to say something so please be gentle on the posts about this news or even if you wanted to. Im sorry that I probibly wasted your time. PS sooo sorry for the messed up post about the picture i had never put up a picture before and sorry for all the miss spells i was so excited that I found something oh and sorry for forgetting to say its a spoiler yet again i was in a hurry.

Misspelling we can deal with as long as it's not coming from someone who is trying to talk all "high and mighty" at us. And if we CORRECT your spelling, just don't take it to heart.

Belief in God? Okay. . .that doesn't offend anyone here, as long as you respect the rights and freedoms of others to NOT believe in God if they so choose. We recognize that it most Christian types consider it the responsibility of their faith to bear witness, but we simply remind you that it bears POOR witness to be obnoxious about it.

As far as posting pics and stuff like that. . .if you're new to Firefly, or at least new to this site. . .you'll need to do some catching up, but that's no big deal. The picture, by the way, is something we've all seen by now. No sweat. You're new.

Calm down, take a few deep breaths and poke around the site. We'll all get to know each other in due course.

As the resident troll-hunter (well, at least one of), I feel I can safely say that sanmi77 is not a flamer. At the very least, if she is, she's minding her manners, which is all we ask, right? There's a difference between disagreement and flame baiting.

I get the distinct impression that you are genuinely struggling with English, not just pretending like a flame baiter would do. Whether you speak English as a 'first language' or not, I can suggest a couple of websites to help you improve your spelling, help you find words that say what you want, and another that does a pretty good job translating words to/from English, and they are free of charge.

I THINK "Sanmi77" is/was the same "Sanmi" who used to post when I first started lurking around here. He/she admitted back then that English was not his/her first language. I have no problem with the spelling issues, but I find/found it difficult to decipher his/her posts under either identity. It's not so much the spelling, but theonelongsentencewithnocapitalizationorpunctuation that make me skip over his/her posts.

I guess I'm basically lazy. I prefer posts that I don't have to work TOOOOO hard to comprehend. I'm sorry Sanmi/Sanmi77.

I've been posting here for a couple of months and it took me ages to get a single response. One of my first was a very stern telling off from Zol (hi, if you read this ) but I stuck with it and amended my posts for the future.

Everyone's comments are fair, read around and learn what people like and don't like.

Tell people a bit about yourself and be kind to everyone, this board is very special, I find it rare for boards to have intelligence, insanity, heros and comics with so few arguments so stick with it.

Well, that's what I was basing my 'you're a female, right?' comment on. I suppose 'Sanmi' could be the Asian equivalent of 'Chris', which means she could likewise be a male; so, that's why I apologized in case I was wrong.

But I don't think she's a troll. I just think s/he is having a problem with the language, regardless if she's in Seoul or in Seattle. I'm willing to reach out to someone in need; but you're right, too. Net discussion boards are a written medium. Some basic skills are required.

Just like there's no TV for the blind, no radio for the deaf. Some obstacles are going to be hard to overcome...
