I almost stopped watching this a few weeks back, then Hurley's episode was on. If there was more Hurley the show would be a lot better. But it does move slow, mostly because half of every episode is a flashback of some sort. If they would stop with the flashbacks already and advance the plot I would be much happier, but they won't because everyone who survived did so because they are all connected by their past somewhat. I'm just caring less and less about that with each episode.

But wouldn't it be funny if there is an entire operating room inside that hatch that Jack could have used to save Boone? I'll bet something like that is in there, but it's just a small part of a bigger suprise.

Is Lost supposed to be a continuing seasonal thing, or is it a story-in-a-season like 24? When it started I though it was the latter but I'm not sure.

Run to the Tower, and call out the Magus
If he has caused this, we'll tear out his pages
Throw him in shackles, AND REMOVE HIS HANDS!

How can you not see a parallel with "days of our lives"? Lost is a soap.

After 18 episodes it is moving so slowly it doesnt seem to be getting anywhere..

I guess I keep watching because I am so starved for something decent on TV, I keep hoping it'll get better.

I'll keep watching though.. maybe next week the aliens will reveal themselves and the intergalactic war will start! Then things will hot up!

Did we ever find out what that giant critter was that kept knocking down the trees and making those ominous sounds ? ( hold the Hurley-using-the-restroom remarks to a minimum,ok? ) Seems like it was terrorizing the whole island, and not it's just......lost!

Locke is the only one of us to see that critter and up close at that.

Nope. As Calhoun said, Locke is the only one to see the beastie and walk away from it. We haven't heard much from it in awhile. Not sure where, if anywhere, they are going with the huge monster thing.

It will be a continuing seasonal thing. There is already a release date for season 1 on DVD in September and website forums are already buzzing about season 2.
