I use Adobe Premiere Pro and Photoshop CS to make my videos, when I started I used Movie Maker 2. The timing for the still fly-byes was timed by placing markers on the timeline that signified where the beats occurred. It took some time to get them all in the proper places but it was worth it. What program do you use?

I use a little known program called HT Video Editor for making the actual videos and Movie Maker for compression.
I've been wanting to try out a program like AdobePP, something that has the ability for more complicated edits and effects but that takes money I ain't got.

Never heard of it, but using MM2 for compression is a good idea, I typically use Divx Xvid or 3vix but that’s just for me, for distribution it's safer to just go .wmv. Do me a favor, check out my blog, I'm kinda beta testing a writing idea of mine.
