My God, just Whores and Goddesses or Listening o Firefly make the book worth twice the price to me. All the essays in the book made me think deep thoughts or laugh, can't ask for more than that.

I had a 2fer last night....
I called my local B&N to see if they had Finding Serenity in stock. The guy who answered the phone said they had two in stock but when he went to find them he could'nt locate them. So, after work I went to the store to look myself.
I could'nt find it either.
I asked for help from the customer service desk.
She could'nt find it either.
She called someone else for help.
The three of us searched for 15 minutes before one of us came up with the goods (end of the row in a book rack NEXT to the SciFi section, go figure huh?).
So, while the someone else she called went out back to get me a copy of the new David Webber book that I wanted also, she read the cover.
"Anti heroes, Lost Shepards..." she said.
"Ummm Space Hookers????" she said.
So, of course I had to explain. Turns out she's an unabashed scifi nut and self proclaimed trekkie who only vaguely remembers something called firefly.
So, after I straightened her ass out over the fact that Firefly beats the tar out of any ST:TNG season, ever conceived, she went with me to the DVD section where we found her a copy of the Season 1 (and only) episodes.
And, yes she bought it while I sat there using her employee discount.
I got the book, and I got a convert, all in one night!!!!
Like I said, a 2fer.

I received my Amazon notification yesterday to say it was being sent by Royal Mail.
Royal Mail must mean it's in the UK.
