I've heard rumors that Richard Burgi (Detective James Ellison from The Sentinel) is a guest star in one of the remaining three episodes. My guess is he is in "The Message."

He waves hello, and so does your father. He is in good spirits and there was layoffs but the foreman said no one can weld like a Cobb so he has employment still. I made you the enclosed"-- Ooh! Enclosed! It is a hat, mother done knitted me a hat of gold and orange, it is my very favorite color, with them flaps I like so much, to keep my ears from gettin' frosted out here in the black! It has one of them pompoms on top too, just like Matty's, Woo hoo! -- "the enclosed to keep you warm on your travels. Hope to hear from you soon, love, Mother." My new hat has a cunningness to it! I will wear it a whole lot. Damn straight!
I am hungry now and need to go eat some of those rations I took from Dr. Sissypants.

He also said if I watched "The Message" it would make sense. So, I suppose that's a bit of a spoiler. Also, he doesn't run the Jayne journal. That's just one of the role-players, he only left a commnent to one of the entries.

He's funny like that. The day after he made the comment in the journal (what was he doing up at 5am?), he...well, sorta pounced me on the firefly board and asked if I liked his comment. I say "pounced" because he seemed all bouncy and happy. I guess he likes the role-play :)
