Well they did say documentary. They sorta gotta capture the truth and stuff.
Besides being geeky ain't so bad. Means you get to appreciate the finer things in life.

Actually, the word that comes to my mind is "insane" or perhaps "obsessed."
But then I suppose they want to reflect reality and I think many of us (myself included) ARE obsessed.

I was interviewed! I was interviewed! Yep, I was one of the lucky ones to be interviewed at Wizard World for the upcoming fan doc. There were 3 of us interviewed at once. They asked us all sorts of questions about why we support a cancelled show, what getting a movie means to us, how we intereact with the BDH's, stuff like that.
If any of you know her from the OB, Rosie got interviewed also. Not sure how many others since we were near the end of the line and didn't notice the camera until after getting signatures. That's when they tapped us on the shoulder and asked if we wanted to be interviewed.
It was a very shiny day indeed!

Great article. Good to know they're taking steps to make the DVD enticing. I'm someone scared though about DVD talk before seeing it in theaters. I guess I got spooked by the damn "direct to DVD" threads. Oh well, I still have faith it will hit the theaters. Hopefully audiences can still appreciate a good story by then.
Dan, cool! I'll keep an eye out for you and Rosie on the DVD. Thanks again for the con DVD's. Love em!

I really look forward to the DVD. One more thing to look forward to!
By the way, not all Firefly fans are geek types (which I really don't understand what that means for sure...) Some of us are corporate types who go to Broadway shows, vote conservative, and by way just love brilliantly written shows!
I remember reading somewhere that Joss said he was amazed at the diverseness of the fans. I hope they show that in the DVD. Yes we are diverse and that.....makes us mighty!

phew, good. nothing wrong with showing the truth. i was more afraid that we might look fangirlish or f(l)anboyesque (is that even a word?). might even throw in a tad of schizophrenia, if you can answer the following question without even thinking about it: what does an old married couple have in common with a table?

dont worry, schizophrenia must be the mark of all brilliant people and smart people love firefly.. so there you go ,-)
