I pre-ordered this book a while ago from Amazon so I'll post as soon as it comes in the mail.

Here's what they're saying now: "Delivery estimate: April 6, 2005 - April 8, 2005"

Better than I got for "Rock Masters: Billy Joel". That was January 8, 2010 - January 10, 2010. I deleted it from the order.

Keep the Shiny Side Up . . . (wutzon) not Billy Joel

so i guess our amazon is more optimistic. still says 1st-4th. would be kind of ironic to get this book earlier in germany. but then, i had orders where p&p from the states was not even half of what i would pay inside of germany (could this be a sign we are being ripped off? *fg*)

I bought my copy from Barnesandnoble.com, and they too are listing the release date as April 1, 2005. So...that's two websites with the same release date. Eveything I've ordered from both of these sites has always gotten to me in a timely and prompt manner, and I expect that Finding Serenity will as well.

Simon: "It means more out here. It's all I have..."

I'll definently pick it up. Thanks for the reminder!

I've said it before, and I'll say it again: books generally don't have "street dates." Harry Potter books are very much the exception -- the thousands and thousands of other books that have July publication dates won't have their release date so maniacally managed as the next Potter book.

I'm not sure when Finding Serenity will be available. I just hope there are copies in time for I-Con in two weeks. :)

And since I'm in Canada, I'll hope to find a copy in a brick'n'mortar store by September.

But I'll expect to be disappointed.

Ruttin' Canadian bookstores don't even make the attempt anymore.

I'd just chalk it down to German efficiency (to engage in a little positive stereotyping ).

Hi Keith,

What can you tell us about the book? I'm going to be one of the people manning (womanning really) the table at the I-Con. By the way, I've never in my life gone to a convention (other than corporate business type conventions.) Should I be frightened?
