Just to make sure all are aware that Jane's book on Firefly is due out this coming Friday (1st April - and it's not an April fools joke).

It's all about Jayne and his sheep. Bahhh!

Holy flurking schmidt!

(However, i'm instinctively distrustful of anything announced for April 1st...i'll believe it when I buy it.)

5x5: Alan Tudyk was in 28 Days, not 28 Days Later. There's a difference.
Paladin: So, no wacky zombie with a Hawaiian shirt, then?

I'm trying to decide whether or not to get this...

I think I'll get it... I own a similar book on Star Trek (or two ;)...)...

the screenplay won`t be out until September - there`s probably a few Joss Books out there but nothing much for Firefly/Serenity

might still be, depending on where that date came from. if i remember krads explanation correctly books dont have an exact date and for example amazon just makes up a date (because their software requires one).

well, we will see in about 5 days ,-)

well, I`ve ordered one from amazon, so I guess we will see - I have found that Amazon are usually pretty good and will update the dispatch date if they find out it`s ready at a later date.

Depends on the marketing money behind 'em. Mid-list books (Keith's, & maybe this one) just have a release month. On the other hand, HP & the 1/2 Blood Prince will be released on July 16. From Amazon: "Availability: Pre-order this item now and we will make sure it arrives on or just after the release date of July 16, 2005". And if they handle it like the last HP book, Barnes & Noble Burbank will close for an hour Friday evening, then reopen @midnight to sell copies to the folks lined up outside.

Also, mid-list books will not be shipped in advance of scheduled release, nor will efforts be made to get them to all bookstores @the same time. So, if you find "Finding Serenity" on April Fools' Day, it's a good day.

Keep the Shiny Side Up . . . (wutzon) Clapton, "Further On Up the Road", from "Crossroads"
