Here we are!! I left in the 'maybe?'

I'm up for eating out...and I'm soo gonna bundle McDonalds everyday!

I'm going to try and see if there is an opening in the Thistle now...cos I'm lazy.

When did we want to eat out? I can't find it hidden amongst the 250 pages of thread, LOL. But I'm most likely game.

Oh. Yeah, first day, I'll be wearing the brightest clothes I can find just so I stand out, LOL. Probably pink trousers like I wore to the Serenity screening in Feb.

Hey, good, a new Serenity Convention thread. Can't believe we've only a month and a week to go!!

So, FFF folks: Are we still planning to have a little pre-event lunch on Friday April 29?
Looks like I'll be returned from Edinburgh (flying into Heathrow) around noon. Should get to the hotel around 1 pm, I'm guessing.

Would love to gather with ya. We've got until 3 pm. until registration starts, don't we?

Also, I've got a twin room reserved, and I'm wondering: Do you think I Thistle will let me squeeze a third person into the hotel room, if somebody needs a place? After all, my daughter isn't an adult yet -- she's a teenager.

Has everyone begun work on their costumes, hmmm?

Hmmm pre-event lunch or breakfast

I think registration is mid afternoon, but with 600+ people all trying to register pay for their bits and pieces (Photo Ops etc.), I`ll go with sandwiches

Not too sure what time the hotels accepts people into their rooms either, likely to have a lot of stuff, so might want to do that before registering if I can.

Really Looking forward to it

Not sure I should say this on a board but sometimes theoretically some people may possibly squeeze the occasional extra person into the room without telling the hotel. I would never do such a thing of course but if I did I would not want my room to be cleaned at all and I would definitely not request more keys than the roomsize. I may possibly find a way into breakfast without talking to the guard at the door

This is all highly theoretical of course and I am sure the other attendees on this board are all saints and would do no such thing, this is just a rumour one hears....

I really should get me a signature

Well, I don`t know where all this sprang from but, I was on about my own stuff.

I think you will find that apart from the hotel not knowing about un-invited guests, it means they will be in-voluntarily breaking fire regulations (even though it won`t be their fault that they don`t know who extra is staying), this would also invalidate any insurance as they are not on the register.

I would hope that people act resposibly, whilst staying.

Well, if we want to meet up, can we make it lunch and not breakfast, lol? I have to drive down from stoke-on-trent and it's going to take me a few hours. But, I'm coming down on my own so I'd definitely like to meet up with some of you guys, else I'm just going to be sitting there, and alone is no fun on your 18th, LMAO.

well, late breakfast, early lunch, I`m driving down in the morning - If you see a ford mondeo flash past you with someone shouting "The Gorram Reavers are coming" with green exhaust fumes coming from the rear of the car, that`ll be me

Just wave your hands around & shout at the top of your voice "I AM PHOEBE!" that should get peoples attention

Does anybody have an idea of where this meet up will be? at Hotel? or McDonalds (is there one nearby?)

Drop me a line, certainly interested.

I'd have to go with lunch too...seeing as I'm catching the train up there from suny Bognor Regis!! Ack! I feel sooo...young, and innocently nervous. This is all soo much. I might pee my pants! I'm only 16, and the only real solo journey I've ever made was to meet my family out in Majorca last year...so I guess this shouldn't be too hard. I'll post exactly what time/train I'm going on later...cos if anyone else is going on that train I'd be glad to meet them on there...and maybe share a taxi once we get there? Don't worry, it won't be awkward...I'm awfully chatty. But not in annoying way. Not much.

And I'd like to meet fellow FFF'ers.
