I bought the DVDs made by TRS80 that have been mentioned here, and I thought it warranted a new thread.

The picture quality and DVD menus were great but the sound was outstanding. TRS80 speant considerable time converting the stereo to dolby digital 2 channel. It was nearly worth the $25 just to hear the specialy rendered theme song included on the discs. It sounded better than watching the episodes live.

If you haven't bought a set from him yet, I recommend getting one now (this, of course, doesn't mean you shouldn't buy any material released officially in the future). Like I told him, it's nice to have a permanent reminder of what television should be.

I have some cool stuff on ebay, I am donating all profits to the coat drive (actually Purple Heart or the Salvation Army, local charities here) even though it has offically ended, its spirit lives on. I have raised $300 so far.

I have a few of each item left and then it's really all over. :o(
