*Finds a palm frond to fan for amusement, and goes to dip toes in the water.*
To relieve the boredom of such a decadent scene, Needleseye begins to recite..
Sigh no more, ladies, sigh no more,
Men were deceivers ever;
One foot in sea, and one on shore,
To one thing constant never.
Then sigh not so,
But let them go,
And be you blithe and bonny,
Converting an your sounds of woe
Into Hey nonny, nonny.
Sing no more ditties, sing no more
Of dumps so dull and heavy;
The fraud of men was ever so,
Since summer first was leafy.
Then sigh not so,
But let them go,
And be you blithe and bonny,
Converting all your sounds of woe
Into Hey nonny, nonny.
(Currently watching Much Ado, couldn't help but add it
)

Good call, needleseye! I had that song in my head all day yesterday after watching Much Ado. That is one of my favorite movies/plays. I'll watch it in whatever form someone gives it to me.
IRL FYI (when did saying actual words become too much work?):
I'm going to be gone to CE until Wednesday, and I don't want anyone getting worried because they haven't seen me *significant glance at Rat*, or organizing search parties *significant glance at TRM*.
Thank you. Resume beach partying.
Packer fans welcome.
All others tolerated.

* After the “ratburger” comment, The Real Me starts paying attention. He eyes Rat and his hasty escape. *
Needleseye, you may help yourself to any of our food and drink here, but kindly do not eat the participants in this party.
And I’m not certain what this “Port-o-let” talk is about with regard to the SereniTree. If it is in reference to size, then Rat is mistaken. On the outside, the SereniTREE is the size of a two-story house that could be put into the limbs of a rather large tree. It began as a tree house, after all. We have a picture of it on our flag. It is much larger on the inside, since I have folded space through some higher dimensions a few times. Inside, it’s probably the size of a small shopping mall.
* The Real Me looks around. *
I’m afraid that Captain Ebonezer is indisposed. But I’m the First Officer of the SereniTree. Perhaps I can be of assistance?

In it's natural state maybe, but right now it's in Port-O-let mode. You know, for the beach.

Oh, *Briefly looks sheepish, then regains her pleasant countenance* On thinking of consuming one of your crew, I lost my appetite. I sincerely apologize. There was a time I consumed all I came across, but it's murder on the figure.
I wanted to meet your captain to ask for passage on your ship to some other place, as I need a change of scenery.
*places palm frond just at eye level and looks over it, raising one eyebrow.*

YES! OF COURSE YOU CAN COME WITH US!
uh...
What I mean to say... is that I'll take it up with the Captain. But I'm certain that there will be no problem.
* The Real Me wipes his brow, wondering if the average temperature of the planet Rukus has suddenly risen above 82.4 degrees F. *

* The Real Me practices to himself. *
Uh, hey, Ebonezer, it's a shapeshifting fish-woman thing that only occasionally eats crew. Can we take her with us when we go?
* The Real Me shakes his head. *
No, no, that won't work.
How about...
