Yeah... I'm thinking the sub $130 Million tie with Blue Beetle is probably out of the question at this point. I have no clue how, but it did make over $4 Million on Cheap Seat Tuesday, which is only $3 Million less than Sunday. I have no idea who is running out to see that on a Tuesday afternoon, but it is what it is.
About zero chance it clears $200 Million though.

80% from Friday to Friday, but that does include the $7.8 M on Preview Thursday of the entire $18.4 M on opening Friday, so it's not nearly as bad as it sounds.
It wasn't as bad as the -87% The Marvels got in December of 2023 using the same metric, but worse than Blue Beetle's -74% in summer of that same year.
Supergirl appears to have made about $1 Million more per day in the US than Blue Beetle did after opening Friday Night where it grossed nearly $8.5 Million more than Blue Beetle did, and this Friday night is a continuation of that trending with Friday's projection at just $35k short of $1 Million more than Blue Beetle got.
The Minions movie I guess might be turning out to be a flop though? People think it can still hold on and have a big weekend like Shrek 2 did, but Bruce says he could see the 4-day weekend ending with only $50 Million to its name. That's got to be helping Supergirl this week. Certainly can't be hurting. Rare flop from Universal there... What little I heard of the movie (of a franchise I've never watched a single minute of) sounded kind of interesting. Something along the lines of the Minions being 1920's Hollywood stars, but when they make the switch to talkies they're all going to be out of work because they can't actually talk? Made me giggle when I heard it. Probably the most interesting thing in a kid's movie in 15 years, one would suppose.
Maybe after about a dozen Monsters and Minions movies it's time to put them to rest for a generation or two.

Right on the cusp of our first sub-Million day. Won't be on Cheap Seat Tuesday, but we might see it happen on Wednesday or Thursday. Whether that happens or not, next Monday through Thursday will all be well under $1 Million.

Well, beam me up, Hillary Clinton. On second thought, don’t bother.
Hollywood is still opting for indoctrination over entertainment, and it keeps losing. If moviegoers wanted woke lectures, they could watch CNN for free instead of plunking down $16 for a single movie ticket and another $12 for popcorn and a drink.
Hollywood’s problems stem from an echo-chamber effect. It assumes that the average American reflects the Trump Derangement Syndrome of Robert De Niro and Rosie O’Donnell and the worldview of George Clooney.
We’ve gone from the Oscars of the 1980s, where activist celebrities sported AIDS buttons, to today’s showbiz homage to Palestine.
Hollywood’s propaganda machine works overtime to convince us that businessmen and Republicans are evil, white racism is everywhere, and America is a force for evil in the world.

My only argument with this article is their math...

I'd put the money they needed to make to break even at only $425 Million, and that it's on track for a loss of up to $300 Million.
I still think there's a chance it grosses what Blue Beetle did or less. Especially after WB announced that it was putting it on streaming on July 28th.
Blue Beetle made $130 Million. Supergirl is currently at $108 Million worldwide without Friday included yet.
If Supergirl makes only $130 Million, WB lost $295 Million on this job. Best case even possible for WB is that they lose $250 Million.
It would appear that at least one of the non-woke journalist out there still can't do math. I wonder what it is about that profession where nobody knows how numbers actually work.

-69% drop from last Friday with $1,125,000.
That's $62,000 less than it made on Wednesday.
This one is just about done. This weekend might be good for about $4 Million in the US, and we're going to have at least 2 if not 3 days during the week under one half Million. The only day after this weekend that it will probably ever make over $1 Million again is Cheap Seat Tuesday, and even that's probably not going to happen.
And barring any huge amount of cash Disney or Bruce ends up finding in the international couch cushions, I'm going to up my certainty that Blue Beetle comes out the winner here to 90% from a coin toss.
It will be funny seeing articles coming out talking about that after the fact. Even though I've been saying that it was a very real possibility since opening weekend.
