UK police officer Luke Salmons attended a mandatory DEI training where external trainers literally walked around the room chanting ‘Islam is a religion of peace’ for several minutes. He asked sincere questions about Gaza and jihad. A Muslim sergeant invited him for coffee afterward. Two days later a fellow officer photographed a book in his locker and reported him. His inspector pulled him aside and told him ‘I don’t like your beliefs’ and suspended him. Eight months of investigation. Gross misconduct charge. Career destroyed.
