A lot of those shows probably aren't shown much these days because they really weren't. That was a time where those sci-fi CGI effects on TV were always laughably bad. If there isn't a great story and character arcs behind them, all you got left is a really bad looking show.

Oh... sure. That is a great idea. This commercial makes me think it probably was pretty bad and would be a PRIME candidate for a remake.
I'm always sayin' leave the classics alone and remake the garbage. I'm sure there's a story there. And since nobody employed in Hollywood can actually come up with anything of their own, maybe they could at least do something with it. Even cheap special effects today would look way better than that.
Did you notice the Bad Guy from The Postman was in there for a brief second?
It was bothering me all day while I was out working where I saw that guy before. Finally broke down and checked out IMDB and that sure enough was General Bethlehem. One Mr. Will Patton. It honestly wouldn't surprise me if he was the one diamond in this turd.
Damn good movie, The Postman.

And really... Screw Disney and Marvel and Google for taking down all the good videos of The Postman with Come and Get Your Love after making alleged child groomer James Gun's Guardians of the Galaxy.
