Was that movie any good?
I didn't even know it was a movie until way later in life. To me it was one of the best Atari 2600 games... at least among the best we had in our collection.
Probably not the first video game / movie tie-in, but I'd bet that it objectively ranks pretty high on the list of best licensed movie games, since they're usually crap. You've got to weigh in the age and restrictions of the consoles of the time. It came out in 1982.
