It doesn't matter if it was or wasn't. They would have ignored it.
It's just another stance on their part that is completely indefensible in today's world, and they still can't wrap their heads around the fact that they now live in a world where this is merely common sense policy when even having a debate about this would have been unthinkable 5 years ago.
SCOTUS is going to have a lot of major cases to rule on in the next 2-3 months. Cases that I've been patiently waiting to see play out while the two buffoons in here have already forgotten completely about at least 100 things they were bitching about in the meantime.
I'm still hoping that we can force an emergency census before the 2028 election. Unfortunately, I believe we slow-walked all of this stuff for too long and we won't be able to un-rig the elections before midterms, but I'm still holding out hope for a beautiful October surprise that puts the entire Democratic Party back into the fucking ground where it belongs.
Not that it's crawled it's way out out of the hole much at all, but the Republican party always seems to do dumb shit and leave ropes and vines dangling down the hole so the Democrats manage to keep crawling out all of those holes they're always digging themselves into.
