No. I haven't. Are you making a claim that people are speaking Chinese in any of these countries? That would be the first time I've EVER heard anybody making that particular claim.

You wouldn't catch me dead in California or New York. But if I did go to a Chinatown, I would expect that they spoke Chinese there. I believe that Chicago has one too, and I've never been there even though it's in my backyard.

Well yeah... We all know that. Thanks Democrats.
But this is a thread about Chinese, and the Mexicans and sand jawas don't speak it.

Chinatowns are everywhere
in the 80s and 90s they got populated with people fleeing HongKong the fear of politics going back to mainland Communist China
the Chinatowns of Brazil, Canada, Mexico City Spanish or Portuguese Chinatowns and barrios chinos, or bairros chines, SouthAfrica Chinatown, London, England as well as major Chinatowns in Birmingham, Liverpool, Newcastle, and Manchester, Berlin, Rome Italy, Adelaide Chinatown Australia, Sydney Chinatown, Melbourne Chinatown, Bangkok Chinatown, Jakarta Chinatown, Yokohama Chinatown Japan...they spoke mostly Cantonese in a lot of these places not Mandarin then Mandarin Mainland speakers started to go overseas.
In the 1950s, 60s, 70s and 80s people didnt speak much of China it was closed off, no phones, no robots, no space satellites, the immigrant culture of 'Little Italy' or 'Little Tokyo' or people went to a Jew Yiddish Hebrew area, that was more important, some Japanese became part of the USA
Korean Americans had an impact
the Konglish or Koreatown shooting off the rooftops they probably saved a city from burning to the ground during the LA Riots, there is still a big Koreatown in New Jersey, USA
also the USA is becoming more 'Somali'
eventually Chinatowns will fade and get replaced by some other immigrant communities...the might even return home if the West goes to shit
immigrant cultures arrive and you get more 'Mexico' Spanglish, Arabia-stani, Brazil, Hindu-towns, Singlish, Africa Haiti communities, Slavics, Russian, Scottish, Ukraine, Vietnamese, Balkan and other Ethnic enclave.
...keep wars going and you will find movements and invasions of desperate peoples across the world.
Currently the Canadians looks like a giant mix of Bangladesh, Libya, India, Iraq, Kenya and Pakistan
