Everyone aside from Summer and Morena lookin' pretty rough. Not that I haven't aged 21 years since Serenity myself, but nobody is asking me to get in front of a camera.

And you know that if they bring it back, the sensible thing would be to appeal to the prime demo, and I don't see them tuning in every week to watch our crew in 2026 without bringing in a lot of younger talent. And we've seen how well that's worked out in everything from Ghostbusters to Star Wars to Star Trek in the last 15 years.

Better to leave well enough alone and not bring it back if they're going to ruin our memories of the show.

The Matrix sequels ruined the original movie. Unless they have something worthwhile to add and good stories to tell, there's no reason to bring Firefly back all these years later if it's just an ill-advised cash grab.

I won't say I called it, because that would technically be a lie, but it really was the only sensible option.

I was kind of sad to see that Joss wasn't going to be involved.

Here's hoping it's great despite that. I'd like to think that everyone that is involved remembers how beloved this show was to the fans and even 21 years later they still remember what their characters were actually like and they won't abide a bunch of studio suits messing with that legacy and/or wouldn't have even gotten involved with this if they thought it was going to be a dumpster fire.
