If they do it, I hope they do a cartoon.
There's not going to be enough budget to do constant de-aging and I'm not really interested in seeing Grandpa Mal and Grandma and Grandma Inara handing off the torch and Serenity to a woke cast of non-binary misfits that represent every stripe of the co-opted pride flag.

The low level rumblings are that they're launching a set of Firefly branded Bobbleheads. Which does fit in with the franchise ("They were little geisha dolls with big heads that wobbled!") but if this is it, I think the only comparable level of reception is likely to be that episode of The Office with Scott's Tots.

Just checked and the already available Funko Firefly figures are not bobbleheads…they do have big heads though.
Hmmm, has anybody made an animation Firefly episode with the Funko Firefly figures? That might be pretty funny.
