Don't get excited until you see who the showrunners would be.
I think we're past the woke, DEI crap, but we've watched these people destroy every IP people used to care about over the last 12 years.
I'll believe it is good when I see it, assuming it does get made.

I believe Nathan has a lot of pull with ABC. We will see how much if Joss Whedon is involved and how a companion is portrayed.

Do you suppose it would be better or worse if Joss was involved?
He did a damn fine job the first time around, but I know he had all that drama around him and the fall from grace. I didn't really follow it all that much.

I think because it's been a while, if Joss stays humble, he will be back. If not, then not.

Well, there's a new video, and Adam Baldwin is involved!!! This is really starting to look like something interesting. Not that kind of interesting. The not all going to die kind.
I would love to have a reason to hang out on these boards again after so many years...I miss this place.

Haken's going to need to overhaul the entire site if people do come back.
This site is held together with bubblegum and painter's tape as it is. 20% of the time you want to make a post here you can't, and there's only about half a dozen of us posting on any given day.
Even an addition of only 100 old Firefly fans trying to post here would be like a 24/7 DDoS attack against a modern website.
You should encourage your billionaire friend Second to give Haken a boatload of money to revamp the website and make it worth Haken's while. To this date, by Second's own admission, he has never donated a single penny to Haken despite allegedly being worth more money than anybody you've ever known online and IRL combined.
