Love to hear American propaganda about Cuba.

Let's see, Cuba has a life expectancy of 78, just like the USA. Actually, the Cubans have an excellent health care system that makes most of what the USA has look like 1960's Russia. Been there, saw what they do and Americans should be so lucky to have such a good health care system.

Store shelves empty? Not particularly, and most people grow their own food as urban gardening is widespread and does very well. The government also distributes food for free so even the poorest of the poor are provided a nutritious diet. Canadian farmers been going for years to Cuba and any I've talked to say the Cubans have very good and productive farms. Didn't see any people starving in the street in Cuba, but I certainly do in the USA.

If there is a shortage of anything, its cars and parts, school supplies for children and certain tools and some appliances. Not too many electronic devices either (computers, etc.) but then it's nice to walk down a street or go into a store and have people actually greet you and talk to you instead of them stumbling by oblivious to everything except their handheld master.
I even got to play with children who were outside and having fun instead of seeing them whine and complain because they had to be outside instead of being glued to a TV or some electronic device.

And yes, tourists are asked to stay in the tourist areas. Mostly because there is a level of crime in the country, but being allowed to walk in non-tourist areas it wasn't 1/100th as scary as walking in an American city. I have been told numerous times in various US cities by American police officers to take a taxi a few blocks instead of walking as I probably wouldn't make it alive to the place I was going.
In Cuba, the cops warned me not to buy drugs, ignore the prostitutes and not to buy anything from anyone because it was probably stolen from the government; but they never said I might get killed or be robbed.

Cuba is a really beautiful country with friendly people who appear to be very healthy and happy, unlike other countries that are supposedly better off.

Oh let the sun beat down upon my face;
With stars to fill my dream;
I am a traveler of both time and space;
To be where I have been

Sorry Michael Moore, but that myth has been thoroughly debunked. Most " doctors " in Cuba would never pass the board here in the U.S.

And if their HC was so excellent, why did Fidel go OUT of country to seek care ? Hmmm?

There may be top shelf care, for some, but over all, the myth of "excellent" healthcare for all in Cuba is propaganda, and not much else.

Yeah,so many love it there so much in Cuba, they constantly risk life and limb , trusting make shift boats to cross the 90+ miles to Florida, in hopes for a much worse life ?

Hardly.

How can any sane person attempt to reason with anybody of Deverse's level of insanity?
